Greetings,

I'd like to start with a simple question:

Have you ever eaten at a restaurant, shopped at a grocery store, visited the doctor's office or flown on a commercial airplane?

If yes, then you've met that person who serves your food, recommends dishes, solves your problems and takes care of you in unfamiliar situations. You have met the Servant. (Waiters, Checkers, Flight Attendants and even Doctors) These people may not have the power to solve all of your problems, but they do have the power to greatly enhance a good experience, save a bad experience or ensure you never go back there again.

This blog is a place to:

• Share and discuss stories of success and failure in the service arena
• Help servants grow in their profession by sharing practical advice on what makes a great servant.
• Provide patrons with helpful ways of relating to servants,
• Honor particular Servants who have consistently display professionalism, hospitality and flexibility in their own way.

That being said, I would love to hear your stories of excellent or abysmally mediocre service.
